Asus unveiled the latest iteration of its Zenfone smartphone series. The Asus Zenfone 5 is an Android smartphone that is currently making huge headlines at this years MWC event in Barcelona. But the reason this smartphone is getting all this attention is that it is a knockoff of the iPhone X. A spectacular one at that.

Introducing the Asus Zenfone 5
The Asus Zenfone 5 is a reasonably specced midrange smartphone. It has a design very similar to an iPhone X with a knock at the top as well as a dual camera setup at the top left of the rear of the smartphone. This design leaves the Zenfone 5 with a 90% screen to body ratio. A very impressive achievement, cramming a 6.2 inch IPS LCD display into a smartphone footprint that usually houses a 5.5-inch display.
The Asus Zenfone 5 smartphone isn’t just an iPhone X knockoff. It is a very capable and legit smartphone that is finished in an all-glass body. At 155 grams, the smartphone packs a 3300mAh battery with an HD+ display that has a super wide display of 19.9 (aspect ratio).

The 5Z has a high-end flagship Snapdragon 845 Octa-core processor. The Zenfone 5Z should retail for around $700. The Zenfone 5 price has still to be released and will be available around July/August 2018.
